This kit features two systems based around data and GPS for the ultimate riding setup. The first unit is attached between the front fork and triple clamp and behind a KTM numberplate. The GPS receiver then sits on top of the front fender. The KTMconnect app is used to sync the data from these units automatically and instantaneously.
Though the app, riders can then access a range of data and wireless functions to customise their KTM motorcycle to a variety of track conditions and also access features to improve their performance. Alter engine parameters and suspension settings for a ride that's not just powerful but also finely tuned to your specific requirements. Then look for those extra gains through Rider Coach which allows you to dissect your performance metrics for personalised insights to improve your rides. The KTMconnect app is free to download from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store with no subscription required for the engine parameter adjustments, suspension setting recommendations or viewing of manuals. A one-month free trial is included for the Rider Coach features. Following the trial, the Rider Coach features can be accessed on an annual subscription basis at a price of £59.99.
To ensure peak performance, the latest version of the ECU-file must be used. The MY22 250 SX-F and 450 SX-F Factory Edition models require an EFI mapping update along with MY23 4T models. Please contact your KTM dealership regarding this update.
MY24 4T models do not require an EFI mapping update which makes installation at home in the workshop a breeze. A digital installation manual is included as part of the package and all updates are over-the-air simplifying the installation process.

ENGINE
Enhance the performance and characteristics of a KTM engine through the options menu in KTMconnect. Riders have the choice between PRIME (adjusting levels of Traction Control) and ADVANCED settings (engine braking, throttle response, traction control, and launch control), and can also engage the Quickshifter. Additionally, preset options are available for specific tracks with parameters for SAND, GRAVEL, HARD PACK, and DRY or WET conditions. Quickly tune any 2023 or 2024 KTM SX-F and XC-F to match the demands of a riding session or a rider's abilities and fitness level. There is also a default option to revert the engine mapping back to its original state.
SUSPENSION
Accessing the SAG ASSISTANT or SUSPENSION SETTINGS tabs on KTMconnect enables personalized adjustments to suit a rider's weight, proficiency, and track or weather conditions. The system calculates recommended shock preload or spring rates based on inputted weight and measurement data. Additionally, riders can get guidance according to their categorized skill level (BASIC, ADVANCED, PRO) and tailored advice for different track surfaces (SAND, SOFT, MEDIUM, HARD). This feature offers thorough assistance in optimizing suspension settings based on personal preferences and riding environments.
RIDER COACH
The RIDER feature on KTMconnect is enhanced through a valuable collaboration with analysis experts, LitPro, utilizing the capabilities of the kit. This includes user-friendly software integrated into the app, providing lap-by-lap performance metrics and personalized insights for each session.
Using speed data, this connectivity unit calculates and displays a rider's trajectory, providing in-depth analytics for every lap and allowing for the optimization of the perfect course. After the ride, riders can easily share their recordings, enriching the community aspect. For even more personalization, a heart rate monitor can be attached to access additional features.
